Tomorrow the gymnastics world will crown five new Event World Champions. The Men’s Floor, Pommel Horse and Rings Final will take place alongside the Women’s Bars and Vault Final. With Alicia Sacramone out injured and Beth Tweddle failing to qualify to the bars final, there will be no 2010 World Champion fighting to retain their title. Despite the rumours from the Romanian Gymnastics federation that Diana Bulimar is injured and may be replaced by first reserve and current World Floor Champion Lauren Mitchell, there has been no confirmation that this will happen as of yet.

In the past the following links have provided free online streaming for gymnastics events. It is possibly, not certain, that they might show the competition tomorrow:

SportTV
Another option to watch the BBC Online footage from outside the UK is to to download and install the Stealthy add-on for Mozilla Firefox. I used this for the USA VISA Championships and it worked great. You can configure your network settings for the UK and should hopefully be able to watch the BBC iPlayer live feed of the competition.

Vault: (1st)Maroney(USA)/(02)Chusovitina(GER)/(03)Barbosa(BRA)
Uneven Bars: (1st)Komova(RUS)/(02)Dufournet(FRA)/(03)Huang(CHN)
I love Douglas & Wieber to death but I don’t think their bar sets are strong enough to medal. I think the US has better chances on medaling on vault, beam & floor
Thanks Aaron, did you watch the competition? i’m waiting for it on BBC now
