Becky says:
“I am of course very disappointed to have suffered from this injury, but remain very positive about the future and am looking ahead to working hard with the British Gymnastics Medical Team to ensure that I do everything I can to be in a position to return strongly, and continue my journey towards London 2012.”

Tweet Last week Full Twist posted about Ellie Downie – the new British U12 Champion who is hoping to make the 2016 Great British Olympic Team. It seems that there is a lot of upcoming talent from Great Britain.  At 14, Rebecca Tunney from Liverpool Gymnastics Club is hoping to make it onto the 2012 team.

Tweet According to More Than The Games Beth Tweddle is cautious of her competition ahead of the World Gymnastics Championships. Beth has admitted that she may struggle to defend her World Floor title that she won last year in London. I wasn’t aware that Beth has suffered a calf strain in August and was forced to take a month off training which has set her back meaning that she was unable to make huge improvements to her floor routine.
