Tweet The Independent reports that gymnastics was the most searched for event when applicants were searching for tickets to London 2012. Whilst the report has differentiated between Rhythmic, Trampolining and Artistic Gymnastics, it’s great to see that there’s such high interest…except for those of us who are hoping to get tickets to our favourite sport! Behind gymnastics, the Opening Ceremony and Equestrian were the most searched for events.
It’ll be interesting to see what turned out to be the most applied for tickets when the figures come out. British Gymnastics reports …

Tweet The London 2012 ticket site had a few issues this evening, running slowly and timing out. According to the London 2012 official Twitter there was a huge surge of interest to the site around 10.30pm, so much so that people had trouble processing orders. To accommodate those late, unorganised people (including myself!!) ticket applications are open until 1am tonight. Very considerate!
I just applied for tickets for the Women’s Team final, that’s all. If I don’t get them, it’s not biggie but there’s no way I could afford all of …

Tweet There is only 1 week left in which to apply for London 2012 tickets. I still haven’t applied for mine yet, I better get around to it in the next few days. Tweet So the full schedule of events for the London 2012 Olympic Games was released last night at 00:01. I’ve had time to mull it over and view the feedback online since the release.
When the prices were originally announced back in October, I thought £150 for the preliminaries isn’t too bad. It’s a possible once in a lifetime experience and with the Games being so close to home, I would gladly pay it. Although I didn’t realise that the £150 is just for a 2 hour session, not even the …
