THI PHAN QUEEN of Osijek; Steingruber FLOOR
With two gold medals (vault and beam) and one bronze in the floor, the Vietnamese Thi Phan, 25, became the queen of Osijek in a single event whose opposing weight, Switzerland Giulia Steingruber visibly spared on all devices seeking the European coming months. On beam, Steingruber took bronze behind Hu Kyang Phan and Kim took silver. On the floor, without competition, the Swiss took the gold followed by the surprise of the event – the Canadian Isabela Onyshko took silver.
    Excursus OSIJEK
Fact – Steingruber, year in, year out, is the Swiss team. The eastern group will make such a difference in October? Onyshko repeat the feat? Makra once again on the podium, while Boczogo is falling. Until when? Next step – Sofia.
