7 days to go until the 2011 World Gymnastics Championships kick off in Tokyo. The most difficult part, apart from finding where is showing Worlds on TV, is the time difference. Tokyo is 8 hours ahead of GMT and 13 hours ahead of USA EST. So here is your Complete Guide to the World Championships 2011 Schedule and Coverage complete with time differences for the USA (east side) and the UK / Ireland.
It would be hard to map out all of the different time zones in comparison to Tokyo so Full Twist (as we are UK and Ireland based) has figured out the time difference for GMT and also for USA EST and Romania, where the majority of our site visitors hail from, we would love to do it for all countries but it would be impossible to be able to read the schedule! Other time differences are listed below, it will be easy enough for you to work them out given that you now have the time difference.

USA
In the USA NBC Sports and Universal Sports Network will exclusively present all of the final events from the 2011 World Gymnastics Championships from Tokyo beginning October 12, and continuing through October 16. Universal Sports will broadcast from the championships every night, while NBC will air afternoon weekend coverage.

Wow – thanks for posting all this info. So comprehensive & must have taken you a while to put together.
Really looking forward to worlds – the champs the year before the Olympics always have an extra edge to them. Given the timings I may be able to watch some of the action online during the week whilst on my lunch break at work but will record & watch in full in the evenings. Early start on the weekend for the apparatus finals but it will be worth getting up early for.
