Viktoria Komova was named as competing at the Voronin Cup this week but has had to pull out due to injury. International Gymnast reports that she has suffered an ankle injury.
Her coach Andrei Rodionenko said:
“This injury had no relation to training.”
“The gymnast was just moving through the gym.”
What a pity! I was really looking forward to seeing some of her routines. Luckily she’s not suffering from a ‘proper’ injury from something in the gym. Let’s hope she gets back on her feet soon!
