European Youth Olympic Festival 2015

The Summer European Youth Olympic Festival is a multi-sport event for young European athletes between the ages of 14 and 18, taking place every 2 years. The 13th edition will take place this summer in Tbillisi, Georgia from July 26th – August 1st. There are 9 sports in the summer EYOF with gymnastics only represented by MAG & WAG.

The 2013 edition saw rising stars take part, such as Brinn Bevan (GBR), Nile Wilson (GBR), Ivan Stretovich (RUS), Maria Kharenkova (RUS), Ellie Downie (GBR), Kim Janas (GBR), Louise Vanhille (FRA), Emma Larsson (SWE), Martina Rizzeli (ITA), Valentin Starikov (RUS), Ahmet Onder (TUR) to name a few.

Schedule

Tuesday 28th July

  • 10am – 6pm Team Competition, MAG All Around & Event Finals qualification competition

Wednesday 29th July

  • 10am – 6pm Team Competition, WAG All Around & Event Finals qualification competition

Thursday 30th July

  • 11am – 3pm MAG All Around Final
  • 4pm – 8pm WAG All Around Final

Friday 31st July

  • 1pm – 4pm MAG & WAG Event Finals

Saturday 1st August

  • 1pm – 4pm MAG & WAG Event Finals

Live Streaming

As yet, we are not aware of any live streaming feeds. Should these become available they will be posted on the Full Twist and accounts.

    I remember watching this meet in 2013 — it was very exciting! Maria Kharenkova and Kim Janas finished in a tie for the all-around title, but the tiebreaker went to Kharenkova. It’s been nice to watch so many of the gymnasts that competed there go on to achieve great success!
