Beth Tweddle recovered well from a bout of severe gastroenteritis to go through to the next week. The Olympic gymnast was rushed to hospital with suspected appendicitis on Friday night. Tests and scans revealed that she had gastroenteritis. If hoping to perform and to recover she needed to ensure that she keeps her fluid intake up to avoid complications from dehydration.
Beth went on to perform in a duel with MP and Baroness Oona King, who later left the competition.
