Arabian Punch Front and Full Twist will have to update their WAG and MAG injuries lists respectively.

London Olympics 2012 Bronze medallist on Parallel Bars Hamilton Sabot posted to his Facebook page today that he has been ruled out of the 2014 World Championships next month. During a friendly warm up competition at the weekend with Belgium and Spain he sustained an ankle injury. He states that the injury is nothing too serious but he does not have sufficient time to recover ahead of Worlds.

The French Gymnastics Federation has not yet announced a replacement.

Nico on GymFever links to an article which cites that Spain’s Maria Paula Vargas is also ruled out of World due to a torn ACL and meniscus damage. Vargas, who was meant to be Spains sole female competitor at the London 2012 Olympic Games, has only returned to form since rupturing her achilles tendon ahead of last years Worlds Championships in Antwerp.
