Portraits of Olympic athletes will hang side by side with a picture of the woman responsible for catering at the 2012 games in a new exhibition.
Road To 2012: Aiming High, which includes 40 new portraits, goes on show at the National Portrait Gallery in central London on 19 July before travelling across the country, with exhibitions in Cardiff, Edinburgh and Birmingham.
It includes portraits of potential medallists including gymnast Beth Tweddle and sprinter Jodie Williams.
Below is a video of British gymnasts, Beth Tweddle, Hannah Whelan, Jenni Pinches and coach Amanda Reddin talk about training and competing as a team. The portrait of the gymnasts can be viewed here along with portaits of Men’s Coach Paul Hall and Louis Smith.

Thanks for the link. What a good photo! It’s great to see them all healthy and working towards 2012. It is strange to think it’s possible that 4 of the 5 member team could come from 1 gym!
Jenni Pinches is so cute and chipper; she reminds me of Anna Dementyeva- always smiling!
An Olympic gold for Beth would make me so happy! Love this, especially the accents
Best of luck!
