Tweet You may notice that Full Twist rarely posts at the weekends, usually only if there is a major competition going on or with some breaking news – my work in the gym can be quite demanding at weekends, taking up all of Saturday and Sunday. As usual some of the other Gymnastics Bloggers and news outlets have done a fantastic job in covering the news from around the world over the weekend.

According to STV and Unreality TV, Spelbound are charging £30,000 for 15 minutes of performing since their Britain’s Got Talent win last weekend!
What do you think? Would your company pay that much for a 15 minute performance? I reckon I might encourage the girls in gym to get a group routine together and poach some local companies..what do you reckon!?!

Tweet I came across an article in The Independent on Sunday by Alan Hubbard. Beth Tweddle discusses Spelbound, her company “Total Gymnastics” and the 2012 Olympics.
Tweddle, the best gymnast Britain has ever produced, who came away with two individual golds and a team silver, puts it down to “a new belief, particularly among the younger gymnasts, hard work, the right coaching and Lottery funding”.
The 25-year-old “Tweds” has become the sport’s talisman having made her international debut in 2001 and winning Commonwealth, European and two …

So do you think they did enough to win the competition?

I certainly think so!! The performance was much stronger than Monday nights, it was a lot more concentrated so that we could actually see everything that was going on rather than looking as chaotic as the semi final performance. They had a huge advantage considering poor 81 year old Janey Cutler was a little off on her song minutes before they came on stage. I definitely think they come …

Tweet So tonight is the night when we find out if Spelbound will win the Britain’s Got Talent final and claim the prize of £100,000 and an opportunity to perform before members of the Royal Family at the Royal Variety Performance. In my opinion they need to improve from Monday nights performance which I felt had too much in it. It was hard to see a lot of what was going on, none the less, it was still a lot different to the singers and dance troups.
