This weekend saw the WAG British Championships taking place in Liverpool. All eyes were certainly on Liverpool’s own Hannah Whelan to see whether she could retain her All Round Champion title for a second year running.Hannah did just so, winning the Senior All Around title over GB team mates Danusia Francis and Jenni Pinches. The girls are all certainly looking fantastic ahead of the World Championships in October. There are a few juniors who also look fantastic, some possibly eligible for the 2012 team.

More than the Games

A huge congratulations should go to the British Gymnastics media team for their top notch coverage on Facebook and Twitter. Despite my little rant about only UK citizens being able to watch BGtv, they provided excellent coverage, so great to see them engaging so well with social media.
