Day one of the Swedish National Championships kicked off with the All Around competition for both Juniors and Seniors. The event concludes today with the Event Finals.

In WAG, notably missing from action was Jonna Adlerteg, who recently tore her ACL at the European Championships in Montpellier. Veronica Wagner, who came out of retirement in 2014, was also missing. She is dealing with a foot injury (plantar-fascia) since the 2014 World Championships and has been in a boot for a couple of weeks.

  1. Sara says:

Most of the top seniors were missing, not only Adlerteg and Wagner but also Emma Larsson (probably Sweden’s best AA:er) and Ida Gustafsson, as well as Ece Ayan and Nicole Wanström (2014 Worlds team members). Very depressing that 2/3 of the national team appear to be injured. 🙁
