New elements to WAG CoP – Ferrari, Moors, Wong


The WAG Technical Committee released their newsletter today which has a lot of statistical and factual information from the London 2012 Olympics. Amongst the information is the announcement of new elements which have been added to the 2013 – 2016 Women’s Artistic Code of Points (CoP). Three new elements have been verified and added to the CoP.

Italy’s Vanessa Ferrari’s Split Leap full turn to Ring has been verified as a D element.

Canada’s Victoria Moor’s High Bar Dismount – underswing with forward salto in layout position with half turn was verified as a D element.

Hong Kong’s Angel Wong verified an excellent beam mount, forward tucked salto half turn. This has been named as an E element.
