New Elements added to WAG Code of Points

This week the FIG published the list of new elements performed at the World Championships in Rotterdam in October. The updated symbols sheets are also available. Download the files here

They were published earlier this week. 🙂 It’s also interesting they added new elements performed at the Youth Olympic Games and gymnasts who presented them for the first time there got credit for them, such as Komova for the bars change now most Russians do. 🙂 You can take a look at the other new elements sheets here: http://figdocs.lx2.sportcentric.com/external/public.php?folder=661

    I said “most Russians” perform the “Komova” now but I have just checked and actually what I see it’s a “Van Leeuwen” (from a toe-on) in most of them.
    I love new elements being added but also seeing that “old skills”, such as the front split on beam, are back in the COP.
