Lisa Mason makes comeback

At 30 years old former British gymnast Lisa Mason is to make a comeback after retiring from gymnastics 12 years ago. Mason appears to have rekindled her love of training following her performances at the London 2012 Olympic Games where she along with Danusia Francis and Marissa King performed before each competition. Despite ending her gymnastics career after the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, she has kept involved in the sport with coaching, choreography and even working as a stunt double.

Lisa’s intention is to aim for the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. You can see her perform on beam in this video where she is second up after team mate Annika Reeder in Sydney. Here Lisa qualified as first reserve for the beam final.

Fair play! Congratulations Lisa and best of luck!
