Gabrielle Douglas to write book

Just over a month ago Gabrielle Douglas became the London 2012 All Around Olympic Champion and now she has reportedly signed a deal to pen her memoirs of her request for Olympic gold. The book, to be titled, “Grace, Gold and Glory, My Leap of Faith” is due for release in December. Gabby will be on tour for the next 3 months with the Kellogs tour, so that’s a pretty quick turn around to fit all of her 16 years into a book in under 3 months for December.

Both Shawn Johnson and Dominique Moceanu cashed in during the Olympics by releasing their own memoirs. In my opinion – Moceanu’s was far better, truthful, honest and full of content. Johnson’s lacked content, especially gymnastics related. I’m still waiting for Nastia to write a book, I’d love to read it – or even Valeri.

What do you think? Is it too soon for this 16 year old to be writing a book? Would you buy it?  Leave a comment below.
