The 2012 Cottbus Cup competition will take place in Germany, March 22nd – 25th. Only a few specific names have been confirmed and are available on the events official website. China will send eight gymnasts to compete although the Definitive Registration (as of February 6th) indicates that they will send 6 MAG.

It will be interesting to see 23 year old Cheng Fei, a Beijing 2008 Olympic medallist on both Vault and Beam, after a long break away form the spotlight.
Other gymnasts confirmed as competing include the Netherlands Epke Zonderland and Jeffrey Wammes, Germany’s Seitz, Jarosch, Bui, Chusovitina, Fahrig, Krimmer, Krisztian Berki and Igor Radivliov. Also confirmed yesterday by USAG are John Orozco, Paul Ruggeri and Jessie Silverstein.
