Reigning Still Rings Olympic champion Chen Yibing has reportedly suffered a knee injury whilst training at China’s Olympic training camp in Northern Ireland this weekend. The injury is said to have been sustained during training on vault. Despite incurring an injury to his meniscus but suffering no swelling, Chen believes that he will recover in time for the Olympic Games in just under 2 weeks time.
With the Chinese media day set for Wednesday, we will keep you posted on Chen’s recovery.
