Bethany Harmer – another GBR Star in the making?

I recently posted about up and coming British Gymnasts Rebecca Tunney and Ellie Downie who are thought to be in the running to represent Great Britain as future Olympians. Norfolk Academy gymnast Bethany Harmer is too showing great potential at the age of 10.Bethany competed at the National Age Group Championships at the Guildford Spectrum in the Level 3 competition for her year group at the start of November.

Bethany placed 12th on the day of her competition. When her scores were combined with that of the Compulsory competition which took place earlier in the year, it gave her a score which ranked her as 4th best level three gymnast in the country. This has earned Bethany a place on the Great Britain Development Squad for next year. A fantastic achievement!

The videos below were uploaded in 2009 and says that Bethany was 8 at the time. What do you think? Does Great Britain have another future Olympian on their hands? Best of luck to Bethany with her gymnastics career.
