Silver and Bronze Commonwealth Games medalist Asish Kumar and the MAG Indian team are currently training in England with Coach Vladimir Cherktov. After crisitcising Kumar for not winning more medals, the Gymnastics Federation of India is doing all it can to support the gymnasts. The MAG have been training at the  Basildon Sporting Village in Essex from July 8 and  will  continue to do so until August 30, this is with the hope of performing well at the World Championships in October.So it seems that Cherktov is still coaching the team …

Tweet Today the Boys and Girls All Around competitions were held in Trazbon. The British continued on a good roll with Courtney Tulloch winning the gold AA medal, followed not too far behind by Romania’s Daniel Petrica Vasile Radenau in second and  Vasil Mikhalitsyn from Belarus in third. Unfortunately Russia did not continue on strong from their gold medal win at the Team event on Tuesday.

Tweet Tonight the London 2012 Olympic medals were unveiled in Trafalgar Square by Princess Anne. The Princess Royal is known for her love of sport, being the only Royal Family member to ever have competed in the Olympic Games, competing in equestrian, so she was the perfect British representative to unveil the medals alongside London 2012 chairman Sebastian Coe, with IOC President Jacques Rogge and Coordination Commission chairman Denis Oswald also attending the unveiling.
