Rick posted earlier this morning about Ashish Kumar, the Indian gymnast who yesterday won his countries first medal – a bronze in the Commonwealth Games. Not only is it India’s first medal in the 2010 Commonwealth Games but their first medal in gymnastics since the beginning of Commonwealth Games in 1930.
Ashish has just bagged a Silver medal for his vault in the Individual Apparatus Finals. Great news!!
