2010 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships, Moscow

The 30th FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships will get underway in Moscow’s Olympiysky Sports Complex on September 19th – 26th. Around 300 gymnasts from over 50 countries will arrive in Moscow for the World Championships. It will be the first World Championships that Russia will host.Read more on the FIG website.

This is shaping up to be an event that one should not miss! Russian Team coach Irina Viner has said:

We are now working on a show program, which will include performances from the present and former stars of our sport. I hope it will be really beautiful and it also can become a new word in rhythmic gymnastics, because some of these elements may be included in the official program later.

Russian gymnast Evgenia Kanaeva will work hard to defend her current All Round World Title, watch her previous winning floor routine here (as embedding is disabled).
