The FIG MTC confirms the following elements below were submitted by federations and evaluated prior to start of the 2015 World Championships.
Each gymnast must successfully perform their new element during the World Championships with no large deduction in order to receive the assessed value and potential name recognition. One element has already been successfully performed in a registered FIG competition during the current year and also been awarded the gymnast’s name. All successfully completed new elements will appear in the next MTC Newsletter.
None of the elements below have ever been successfully performed at the World Championships. MAG gymnasts may receive their name for a new element submitted and successfully performed at any registered FIG competition with a Technical Committee Member officially participating. Typically most new elements are performed at the World Championships.
The elements include 1 on Floor (Behan), 4 on Rings (Nguyen,Pham, Tsukahara x 2), 1 on Parallel Bars (Calvo) and 1 on High Bar (Fuentes).
