In October the Royal Mint (UK) launched a set of commemorative coins as lasting mementos of the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. The gymnastics coin, which features a rhythmic gymnast, is one of 29 designs that represent the 29 Olympic and Paralympic sports to be contested during the Games.
The lovely people at the Royal Mint have given me some of the Gymnastics 50p coin packs to give away to readers of Full Twist. If you’d like to win, all you have to do is answer the following question:
What is your favourite or most memorable gymnastics moment from any Olympics?
One of my favourite moments will always be the Magnificent 7 at the Atlanta 1996 Olympics.
When you’ve had time to think about it, either leave a comment below or on the Full Twist Facebook page (you can post videos there too). The competition is open to every gymnastics fan in any country. Can’t wait to hear about your favourite memories!
Winners will be picked at random and announced on Friday December 10th.
