Weekend Round Up


You may notice that Full Twist rarely posts at the weekends, usually only if there is a major competition going on or with some breaking news – my work in the gym can be quite demanding at weekends, taking up all of Saturday and Sunday. As usual some of the other Gymnastics Bloggers and news outlets have done a fantastic job in covering the news from around the world over the weekend.

The Couch Gymnast has the low down on Larissa Iordache’s sweeping performance at the Slovakian Gym Festival in Trnava. Romania’s up and coming star scored big at this event, beating Anna Pavlova All Around. TCG also has a post with videos here.

The Lowesoft Journal Olympics joy for Waveney Gymnastics Club – the Australian Men’s gymnastics team will train at Waveney for the 2012 Olympics. If Australia and Canada don’t get into the Olympics from Worlds, they will both use Waveney as a training camp.
