Pan Am Games 2011:Bits & Pieces

As previously explained, due to the World Championships and the Pan Am Games being held so close together there are very few bloggers present in Guadalajara. Inside Gymnastics brings us a few tidbits of information from Podium Training at the Games:

During podium training, the girls wore the same flashy pink as the worlds squad.

Something happened to Bridget Sloan’s toe during beam, it was bleeding, so she didn’t do floor.

Shawn didn’t do floor. Her bars changed, now starts with jump kip cast hop Weiler – Weiler half – Geinger.

Something’s bad with Bridgey Caquatto’s knee so she did only walk throughs on beam (cartwheel) and floor (leap series — Dscore 0.9).

Canada has lost Dominique Pegg to a broken hand on bars in training. She is going home for treatment.

Hopefully as the Pan Am Games progress we will have more information appearing.
