Top news from the competition

Jordyn Wiebers beam routine sealed the title for her, she scored the highest on beam that evening

Rebecca Bross was unable to finish the competition after injuring herself on vault. Many are asking why did Valeri Liukin allow Bross to compete the vault when she didn’t in fact need to. It has not yet been confirmed but the rumour is that she suffered a disclocated knee cap. Many have a lot to say about this, including Gymnastics Examiner  and The Couch Gymnast who saw this happen. I have to say the coverage is fantastic, the camera pans around to Liukin, Johnson, Memmel, Sacramone and the Karolyi’s instead of trying to decide on what her injury is.
