A very interesting letter from our FIG President Bruno Grandi. In it he reflects on the London 2012 Olympic Games, with points raised such as:
- His disappointment in the incident relating to the score awarded to Japanese gymnast Kohei Uchimura in the Team Pommel Horse.
- His delight at the Rhythmic Judging panels.
- He speaks a lot about the tie breaking situations that occured – asking “Do we really need to separate two gymnasts who are locked together on identical scores, down to a thousandth of a point?”.
This edition of the President’s letter is particularly interesting and well worth the read. Read it here.
