Russia’s Anton Golotsutskov has reportedly announced his retirement. The gymnast, who won two bronze medals at the Beijing Olympics did not compete at the London 2012 Olympics due to a back injury which resulted in him being hospitalised. Unfortunately there was not enough time for Golotsutskov to complete a full recovery in time to be chosen for the Olympic squad. He has had a rather strong career to date, winning medals on vault at the past three World Championships.
