French Olympic team down 2 members

At last weeks European Championships, the Men’s French Team received another blow to their Olympic Team choice. During a failed attempt at a Dragulescu vault, Samir Ait Said suffered a knee injuring. His vault received a score of zero, bringing the team score down. At first the injury didn’t seem too serious, he hobbled off the podium to receive physio treatment. It was when he passed out unconscious that it very much became aware that there was a serious issue. Seen sporting a DonJoybrace around the arena, Ait Said will undergo surgery to repair a right tibial plateau. He is expected to be out of competition for at least six months.
