Coach John Howard of Gymnastics Zone discusses differences between coaching girls and boys gymnastics. He cites one main difference between boys and girls – confidence. I too find this when coaching, boys have less of the “fear factor”, girls question, alot. They wonder – “what if” a lot. John cites the following to note in relation to coaching girls:
