Big names for 2012 Cottbus Cup

The nominative entries for this years Cottbus Cup have been released today. This competition is drawing in some big names from around the world.

In the WAG competition we can look forward to high profile gymnasts such as Daniele Matias Hypolito (BRA), Dominique Pegg, Brittany Rogers (CAN), Cheng Fei, Wu Liufang, Kexin He (CHN), Diana Bulimar, Catalina Ponor, Amelia Racea (ROM), Seitz (GER), Millousi (GRE), Celine Van Gerner (NED), Wyomi Masela (NED), Oksana Chusovitina (GER) and Kim Bui (GER).

The MAG competition especially has attracted some top names such as Daniel Keatings (GBR), Max Whitlock (GBR), Sam Oldham (GBR), Ruslan Panteleymonov (GBR), Matthias Fahrig (GER), Eleftherios Kosmidis (GRE), John Orozco (USA), Igor Radivilov (UKR), Jeffrey Wammes, Epke Zonderland (NED), Krisztian Berki (HUN), Marcel Nguyen (GER), Philipp Boy (GER) Artur Nabaretti Zanetti (ARG) and Yibing Chen (CHN).

What can be noticed straight away is that Italy have not sent any gymnasts, no GBR female gymnasts will compete nor have the Russians sent any gymnasts. Might they all be protecting their top gymnasts before Europeans?
